I have struggled with anxiety and depression for most of my life. I have learned how to identify my flashbacks and emotional triggers. I am introverted, which means that sharing my emotions and feelings is very difficult. I find comfort in music and animals. I ride and show horses, which is a struggle with my anxiety. I find comfort in petting a friendly neighborhood cat and in holding my dog. In the last two years, I have found comfort, love, understanding and acceptance with my boyfriend. I have other health issues and every day is a struggle.
I’m starting this blog to share my experiences with depression and anxiety and to share my interests that help me cope.
